Acceptable Use & Honest Engagement Policy

Medical Bill Forensics LLC operates as an independent forensic medical bill auditing firm. To maintain the structural integrity of our forensic products, protect our proprietary methodologies, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, all users of this website and our services must strictly adhere to the following standards of honest engagement.

1. Authenticity of Documentation

Clients, or their legally designated agents, warrant and agree that all medical billing documents, itemized statements, and financial records provided to Medical Bill Forensics LLC are true, accurate, and unaltered copies of official tenders issued by a healthcare provider. The submission of “doctored,” forged, manipulated, or otherwise tampered-with billing documents is a strict violation of these terms. Medical Bill Forensics LLC reserves the right to report suspected document forgery or alteration to the appropriate federal, state, or local law enforcement authorities.

2. Authorized Access and Agency

Our services are restricted strictly to authorized individuals. You, or your legally designated agent, agree that you will only submit billing statements for which:

  • You (the client) are the named patient or the legally responsible financial guarantor on the billing documents.
  • You are the court-appointed legal guardian, executor, or possess valid Power of Attorney (POA) for the patient named on the billing documents.

3. Prohibition of Deceptive and Fraudulent Practices

The forensic reports generated by this firm are intended solely to identify structural, coding, administrative, and mathematical discrepancies in medical demands for payment (e.g., medical bills). You agree not to use our reports, findings, data, or branding to engage in, facilitate, or support any deceptive or criminal activity. We reserve the absolute right to report suspicious activity to proper law enforcement and regulatory authorities. Non-limiting examples of activities we report include:

  • Accessing or attempting to access an individual’s private medical billing records or financial information without explicit, documented legal authority.
  • Facilitating, submitting, or inflating fraudulent insurance claims.
  • Supporting, constructing, or engaging in illegal medical-related tax fraud or asset concealment schemes.
  • Engaging in any deceptive scheme intended for fraudulent financial recovery or extortion.

4. Technical Integrity and Non-Interference

Users are strictly prohibited from attempting to breach, probe, or circumvent the technical security of our website, client portal, or data storage environment. We report all malicious technical interference to federal and state cybercrime authorities. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:

  • Using automated systems, scrapers, bots, or spiders to extract data or access our interface.
  • Introducing viruses, Trojan horses, malware, or malicious code into the document upload interface or system architecture.
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or alter the proprietary forensic logic, auditing rule engines, or reporting algorithms used in our analysis.

5. Good Faith Engagement and Algorithmic Protection

Medical Bill Forensics LLC provides a highly specialized professional product based on federally mandated medical billing frameworks. We expect users to engage in the forensic audit process in good faith. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for “test” uploads of fabricated, fictionalized, or synthetic data designed to manipulate, benchmark, or probe our forensic analysis algorithms, system logic, or auditors.

6. Right to Terminate and Liquidated Damages

Medical Bill Forensics LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse service, cancel pending audits, delete accounts, and permanently ban any user found to be in violation of this policy.

  • Non-Refundable Fees: In the event that an audit is canceled or suspended due to the submission of forged documents, fraudulent data, unauthorized third-party records, or a violation of our technical integrity terms, all fees paid by the user are entirely non-refundable and shall be forfeited as partial administrative compensation.
  • Reservation of Rights and Remedies: If a user submits fabricated data or attempts to reverse-engineer our proprietary auditing systems for commercial evaluation or corporate espionage, Medical Bill Forensics LLC reserves the right to pursue civil action for intellectual property infringement, theft of trade secrets, and to seek actual, statutory, and liquidated damages, along with reasonable attorney’s fees.
